Chris Farlowe: Lockdown Q&A Full Version
We popped out for a socially distanced catch-up with Chris as the UK's COVID movement restrictions were eased, it was really wonderful to see him in the flesh having spent most of our lockdown working on the documentary edit. During our conversation, Chris expressed that he'd been a bit lonely in recent weeks and really missed being on stage singing for his fans. So, we had a little on the spot brainstorm and thought what better way to cheer him up and reconnect him with his fans than a Q&A.

Looks better than I will at 80. Great hair. Still got a great voice, too.
My absolute favourite vocalist of all time and a very nice guy too who loves to sing from the bottom of his heart! Saw him several times with different bands since 1970 and it was always a treat and a musical pleasure!Stay safe and healthy,Chris, we need you! All the best!
Great guy, also a passionate collector of antique militaria.
Always went to see you at the Twisted Wheel club in Manchester back in the 60’s Great time!
Until I found out you sing Handbags and Gladrags, I thought it WAS Ray Charles singing!!

Chris you are incredible,i have followed your career since the 60s,and buying Out Of Time on 45rpm single, which i still have yet the grooves are abit worn.I got to record that song many years back and we performed it live at the 60s and 70s weekend at butlins.
Thanks for one of the greatest songs of a great music era. ❤️💋♥️💋♥️
Good luck to ya Chris. Keep well.
Really just discovered you Chris last couple of months and you absolutely blow me away. You were great when younger and are still a powerful singer. I am inspired by your commitment to your fans and craft and your energy. Keep it up young man!
Paul Zanatta. I just found his you tube channel too. Chris' version of "You're out of time" is my absolute favorite. I have it ready for a play when I feel like listening to it, which is often. I just watched the video now. Just love it. What a legend...still going. Cheers from Australia.
Still enjoying your music dude, hopefully you are still keeping it up Alex !
Great as usual. He gets better looking as he ages. xxx
If I was great musician, I would want to play in Chris Farlowe's band.
Love Chris. What you see is what you get with him.xx
Hi Chris I think you are a very talented singer. I listen to a lot of songs from the 1960s and I write and record songs I just want to let you know that for me your songs "Out Of Time" and "Handbags And Gladrags" are among the finest songs I ever listened to. To have these 2 songs in your repetoire and to have sung them so originally and showed that these songs were more than words to you as a singer is really worth something. R E S P E C T Sir. Kind Regards Trevor Swistchew. Writer Poet and Guitar Playing old guy from way back when.
